APPLICATION IS LIVE. Please prepare an up to 400-word Application Statement that addresses how requested modules will contribute to, or advance, your research or career goals; reflects on how you expect to use information learned through the modules; and states how your experience to date has prepared you for the requested modules (academic, volunteer, personal experiences/challenges, etc.). You may add any other relevant information deemed helpful.

Within a few days of your application, you should receive an email from SISG notifying you of acceptance and indicating which module(s) you may register for. If you do not hear from us within 4 days of applying, please email Stefanie Boettle (SISG Manager) at sisg@biosci.gatech.edu.
US Graduate Students
Please note that owing to the high volume of applications, all Scholarships funded by our NSF grant have been awarded. As of March 1, GRADUATE STUDENTS should apply as regular fee-paying participants at the reduced rate of $500 per module until April 14 (Fee April 15 – May 24 is $600 per module), and will not need to provide the advisor letter. Before final acceptance, Graduate Students will need to submit verification of their graduate student status. Proof of US graduate student status can be a letter from the advisor or a copy of a transcript.

Lodging
We offer accommodation at our Georgia Tech dormitory on GT Campus. This is mainly for Graduate Students but available to all other attendees as well.
Georgia Tech Dormitory:
Georgia Tech’s Zbar Apartments come as 2-, 4, or 6-bedroom Apartments. You will have a private bedroom and have a shared bathroom, kitchen and common space. Zbar Apartments are located 7 minutes walking distance from Kendeda building where classes are being held and 4 minutes walking distance from the West Village Dining Hall.
Cost per night: $71 including tax, linens, bedding and towels.
