Dates:

  • Applications opens: January 15, 2025
  • Scholarship application closes: March 10th, 2025
  • Early Bird Pricing closes: April 14th, 2025
  • Close of all Applications: May 15th, 2025

If you will be fee-paying, all you need to do is use the Application Page to submit your request, indicating your module requests.  You will hear back from us in most cases confirming acceptance, within 10 Business Days.  Then starting March 1st, we will provide registration codes and information for payment.  Applications will be received up until Thursday, May 15th , 2025.

If you are a US-based Graduate Student, please prepare an up to 400-word Application Statement that addresses how your requested modules will contribute to, or advance, your research or career goals; reflects on how you expect to use information learned through the modules; and states how your experience to date has prepared you for the requested modules (academic, volunteer, personal experiences/challenges, etc.). You may add any other relevant information deemed helpful.  In addition, we will require that you send a one-page letter from your Advisor indicating their support for your application.

Once you submit your application, you will hear back from us within 10 business days. By March 15 we will inform you whether you have been selected as one of the 40 scholarship participants supported by Regeneron and NSF funding.  Each scholarship will cover lodging in Georgia Tech dorms if requested, a fee waiver for 3 modules, and up to $500 in travel expenses that will be reimbursed after the Institute.  If you wish to take 4 or 5 modules, you will need to pay for the extra ones.  Preference will be given to applicants who indicate that they will take 3 or more modules.  Once approved, we will send you a registration code which you will need to register once registration opens on March 1, 2025. Applicants who are not offered a scholarship will still be encouraged to register as regular fee-paying participants. We regret that we are not in a position to fund all applications this year.

Within 10 business days of your application, you should receive an email from SISG notifying you of acceptance and indicating which module(s) you may register for.  You will be given access to a dedicated Registration site once your application has been approved. If you do not hear within 10 business days of applying, please email us:
